چکیده
Rhino-orbital-cerebral Mucor mycosis is a rare, opportunistic, fatal fungal infection most commonly seen in diabetic and immunocompromised individuals, but an outbreak of cases was post COVID-19 patients during the second wave India. Our aim to elaborate anaesthetic management scheduled for FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) debridement involved areas. Here, we have discussed challenges faced series eleven with such as uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, irrational use steroids treatment COVID-19, amphotericin B its interactions management. Preventive measures patients, early detection, timely management, perioperative vigilant monitoring, multidisciplinary approach will reduce morbidity mortality these patients. As limited data available, further studies are necessary understand aetiology pathogenesis better

COVID 19 and Nutrition in Mucormycosis (Black Fungus)
Mucormycosis or black fungus is usually a rare but life-threatening infection resulting from commonly distributed fungi belongingto the Mucorale orders. The disease was previously known as zygomycosis, since Rhizopus species, such as Rhizopus arrhizus, Rhizopus microsporus, and Rhizopus oryza were more isolated from infected patients than Mucor (Chegini et al., 2020, Spellberg, 2017)

IntroductIon: Failure of neural tube closure early in intrauterine development results in spectrum of abnormalities ranging from spinabifidaocculta, a relativelybenigncondition to meningomyeocele, an abnormality involving vertebral bodies, spinal cord and brainstem. These babies also have associated congenital anomaliese.g.intestinalmalrotation, renal anomalies, cardiac malformations and trache...
متن کاملNeurologic manifestations in patients with COVID-19: A case series
Background: There are very few reports about the neurological complications of COVID-19. Case Presentation: Herein we present neurological manifestations in 2 hospitalized patients with COVID-19. The patients showed most common symptoms of COVID-19 along with common conflicts in CT scans of lung such as ground-glass opacities (GGOs). First case revealed two episodes of generalized tonic–clonic...
متن کاملAnaesthetic management of a case of phaeochromocytoma.
Pheochromocytoma is rare, accounting for less than 0.1 % of hypertensive population. In this report, we describe a 40-year-old male a diagnosed case of pheochromocytoma who underwent adrenalectomy under general anaesthesia with epidural analgesia. The patient was adequately prepared with alpha adrenergic blockers. Intraoperative course was stormy but was managed with antihypertensives, inotrope...
متن کاملAnaesthetic management of pheochromocytoma: a case report.
THE ANAESTHETIC MANAGEMENT Of patients with pheochromocytoma has become increasingly sophisticated in recent years, thanks to the introduction of a variety of drugs which allow selective inhibition of responses to abnormally high levels of circulating catecholamines. Preoperative and intraoperative alpha and beta adrenergic block, improved intraoperative monitoring, fluid and blood infusion the...
